PARTNERING TO BUILD CAPACITY

THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL LEARNING INNOVATION AMONG HBCUs

With the overarching goal of reducing institutional performance gaps among racially minoritized students, The Southern Center for Broadening Participation in STEM supported Complete College America in their efforts to gain a comprehensive view of the digital learning infrastructure landscape among Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Southern Center assisted in building a co- design partnership, exposing opportunities for investment, and scaling up the DLI Body of Work. Through the Center’s unique perspective, culturally responsive lens, and ability to leverage its cultural credibility among HBCUs, six HBCU DLI Co-Design partners were selected (Coppin State University, Langston University, Mississippi Valley State University, Virginia State University, Wiley College, and Xavier University of Louisiana).
